Switching to Student Dependent Visa - inside UK

Post by ran098 » Wed Jul 21, 2010 2:36 pm

Hello,

I am currently on Post study work visa and my visa is expiring on 28th Sep 2010.
We married last year and my wife is following her PhD in UK. Her student visa granted December 2008 (before PBS).
In order to switch from my PSW to student dependent visa, do I have to go back to my home country or can I applied within UK please?
If can, what is the application form I have to use.

Many thanks

AFAIK, you'll need to apply for EC (from outside UK) if you wish to change from being a main PSW migrant to student dependent.

Don't expect people to read through the entire article to find the fine print that's confusing you as people might not have the time or willingness to do so! Please post the text that you think is confusing you.

You'll get your answers faster.
