switching to T2G from T1E

Post by sys4tibco » Sat Aug 01, 2015 11:20 pm

I'm currently considering T1E as my current T2ICT will be expired very soon.

if I got T1E and run the my own company.. for a while
but notice that this biz. isn't profitable at all.

In this case, Can I close the company and switching to T2G if I can get a sponsorship?

What is the minimum duration should hold T1E to switch other type such as T2G?

Will UKBA have concern about this tricky situation?

Do you see any problem?

Cause I'm not quite sure about new biz, I'm thinking every kind of options.

If someone already has the same case please share your experiences.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have access to £200,000?

1. Yes.
2. One second.
3. What's tricky?
4. If you meet the immigration requirements, where is a problem?

Let me give my opinion regards 3rd answer of yours.

When UKBA is assessing my T2G application, They will notice that I was T2ICT,T1E
if staying in T1E quite short, then can UKBA treat me abuse of T1E to get T2G??

Of course sponsor of T2ICT and T2G will be different.

What do you think?

You missed my point! Answer 2 was a good hint though!

It is your choice to change immigration categories. As long as you meet the immigration requirements you can do whatever you want - your money, your choice!

That's why I wrote "one second" in answer 2. If you wish to apply for T2G after holding your T1E BRP for a second and immigration rules allow it - go ahead, no problem!! Nothing is tricky as long as you meet the immigration requirements.

What if current T2ICT sponsor and T2G is the same company?

Will it be still ok?

Are you doing this to circumvent cooling-off period requirement by any chance?
Anyhow, read 245HD.

Anyhow, read 245HD.
as It only mentions "last granted leave" not "all granted leave in the past"

T2ICT(companyB)-T1E-T2G(companyB) still seems ok .

above case's "last granted leave" is not the same company.

of course 245HD prevents

T2ICT(companyA)-T2G(compantA)

any correction?
