Switching to Tier-1 Entrepreneur visa after being redundant

HI all,

Currently I am on Tier-2 General Visa till 2017. It is company sponsored Restricted Work Visa.

I want to know that if I get redundant at any point during the visa period, Would it be possible for me to switch to Tier-1 Entrepreneur Visa? if yes what are the requirements for the visa? How much money I will have to show?
