Switching Tier 2 General Sponsor

Hi,

I recently came to UK on tier 2 General and considering a perm job with another company who is willing to sponsor me Tier 2 general. is there any issue with it if I have to think about ILR after 5 years? Will the 5 years timer be reset after I switch my sponsoro?
