Switching Tier 1 GTV from Tier 2 General

Post by Nagrawal » Tue Mar 17, 2020 10:20 am

Hi,

I have few questions in regards to Switch Over.

Current Situation : I have recently extended my Tier 2 General for remaining 2 years.

What I am looking for :

1) I have a different SOC code as Business Analyst on my Visa, whereas I work as a software developer. Will this be looked into while applying for settlement or they will only consider Tier 1 GTV. As I am hoping I will be eligible for ILR in 2 years time.

2) I have a spouse and infant and they both applied at the same time as tier 2 dependants. So, if I switch my Visa, is it required for them to switch as well.

3) Also, as per my understanding TIER 1 GTV one should have job at the time of applying for settlement. In case, if someone doesn’t have job will he be still eligible for ILR due to time completion.

I would really appreciate your responses, as just wanted to make sure everything before getting into anything.
