T2G - Switch visa in India (Continuity Query)

Hi Everyone,

I would appreciate if you give your feedback/suggestions on my situation below:

I was with Company A since July 2014, my colleagues working for this company has received a curtailment letter during December 2016 which I am not aware of because I haven't received any curtailment letter. I came to know this in January second week that everyone has received letters. Based on the first letter received the 60 days notice was till 24th January 2017.

Later I realised that the letter came to my old address (assuming the letter based on 'Missed your mail card') from Royal Mail.

However, I have considered my last day as 24th January and I flew to India on same day. I was attending interviews from November.

I was offered a sponsorship from Company B and then asked to apply from India.

I went to India and applied for a visa on 20th Feb 2017 and got approved on 21st Feb 2017.

I have P60s, payslips for entire five years apart from those two months when I switched the visa.

My query if I have missed my continuity period during the change of Tier 2 General Visa in India? If someone could answer this, that would be a lot of help.
