Temporary Work Permit / Visa

Hi,

I am offered a job in Canada and my employer already got a positive LMO from HRSDC and now that I am applying for my Temporay Work Permit / Visa valid for two years. Now I have the following questions..

1. As a temporary worker can I legally buy a home in Canada?

2. If I want to change the employer while working in canada, do I need another LMO from HRSDC for the change of employer?

3. Do I need to go outside Canada for the change of employer and get back in with new employer's work permit?

4. How long will I be allowed in Canada to pack my bags if I am fired by my employer? I have kids attending school. So this is important for me to know.

5. My wife want's to apply for an open work permit based on my work permit as I fall within the NOC's occupation list to allow this. What is the procedure and do I need any special application forms for this or just regular work permit application form.
