TB test question

Post by mark101 » Mon Feb 11, 2019 7:12 pm

Hi to all,

I just would like to ask for advice. My wife will be coming back to the UK this May. She still has a valid visa but stayed in the Philippines for more than 2 years. Does she need to do another TB test?

Thanks for all the help.

Yes, I think so because your wife doesn't fall under the below exemption category as she stayed for more than 2 yrs outside UK...

Who does not need to be tested:
You will not need a TB test if any of the following apply:

you’re a returning UK resident and have not been away for more than 2 years.

My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.
