Today I got my Spousal Visa - used the premium service in Glasgow.
Changed from a workpermit

Submitted - FLR(M)
5 months payslips (no bankstatements)
Passports x 2
Marriage Cert
P60 ( wasn't nessesary)
Letter from bank about my current account - proof of address (not nessesary)

Thats it.

Everyone in the office were friendly informative and willing to help.

Now ILR in 2 years...

Well done - congratulations and all the best for the future...
Why were you concerned to begin with, by the way?

My concern was that I did not have bank statements as my account is online only..

Well, who said that you could not print out your statements online and then submit them?

Those are your originals - you open up the website, print them out and send them. I would have done the same.

ah ok didnt know that

On a different matter do you have to show your partners income also when switching from a work permit?

The rep behind the counter mentioned something bout that but I didnt have any and it was ok?

I mean being on a wp I can support myself without my partners or public fund help

Jeff, I had an FLR(IED) application stalled and the HO asked my acquaintance to send the original bank statements or certified copies for the case to be decided.

Also during that time, I had come across guidance notes that stated that printout from the internet will not be accepted even though admittedly it had succeeded in some cases as well.

I know what you mean - there are some ridiculous rules at Work Permit division. I know someone who got their HSMP refused because they provided a certified by their employer copy of P60 and they did not accept it, although the employer was the one that gave them a copy and never supplied the original...
