IMHO I see no categorical link to the statement regarding a non increase for ILR. After all one could be extending their stay indefinitley and it could be argued that they are the ones who get the best immigration benefit so should pay the most. Short of issues around dual nationality and complications thereof I fail to see why an ILR holder would not naturalise - its cheaper in the long term and as immigration law is amended offers the best protection of remaining in the UK.Home Office wrote:Also leave to remain fees for those who need to extend their stay in the UK, such as students and spouses, may rise from £250 for a premium service to between £430 and £495.
