The timing of WORK PERMIT REVIEWS.

Hello,
I have 2 questions to ask, and I hope you will find time to answer them.

1)Does anyone know, how long the review of the decision on work permits take? I know that for HSMPs that can be very long. Does the same hold for WPs?

2) Suppose the first review is rejected, how much time does the employer have to apply for the 2nd review? Is it 28 days? or 10 days?

The person in charge of the correposndence with HO is going on business trips then on holidays and I just want to know the timing.
