is there a deadline to Biometric Residence Permit?

Post by jean1234 » Fri Jul 22, 2011 10:17 am

Hello everyone,

Assume that I have submitted my PSW application by post, and they have sent me by post asking me to complete the BRP, yeah? So my question is would there be a set deadline before which I'm supposed to settle the BRP? Im wondering about this cuz I won't be around when the BRP post arrives at my place.

Many thanks,
Jean

you get 15 days from the date of the letter inviting you to enrol your biometrics to make an appointment.

Greenie, do you think I would make it considering the following scenario - I submitted my PSW by post on, say, 4th Aug, and I won't be around from 5th - 15th Aug, and my visa expires on 1st Sep.

Many thanks,
Jean

doesnt matter when your visa expires as long as you apply before the expiry date, just think your brp enrollment letter arrives on 7th of august and calculate 15 working days after that ..

so y to take risk, better worth a wait and enrol then plan your travel.
