Is there a way to check on your days out the country?

I was just wondering whether anyone knows of a way to check on how many days one has been out the country, or alternatively how many days one has left of the 450 maximum, before applying to remain in the country? I first came ove January '06, but then had to go back to my country (Zimbabwe) to apply for a new passport in '08. Unfortunately I had to surrender the old passport in order to get the new one and as such, have an incomplete record of how many days I have spent out in total.
