'Third part sponsorship' and teir 4

Post by redeyegirl » Wed Jul 07, 2010 6:45 am

I am wondering, How is it that UKBA gives approval for the used of parents accounts as evidence to satisfy the maintenace requirement in their guidance notes and not specify that other people i.e brothers, sister, father-in-law bank statements is allow also?

Giving permission to use parent account is, in me veiw, 'still third party' sponsorship for adult student.

And if this is the case, shouldn't other relatives who at times have a close relationship that is similar in responsiblities and committment to that of a parent, should also be given due consideration under the PBS guidance.

What about in cases where the student have their own money for maintenace and school fee but need to use 'third party sponsorship' for the dependants, which in this case are relatated to the finanical sponsor?

Just remember the Secretary of State vs Pankina judgement... guidance notes are not immigration rules.

Points to ponder!!!
