Is this maintainance letter from bank looks fine ?

Post by sureshep » Thu Dec 04, 2008 4:59 am

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 General visa tommorrow at VFS.

Yesterday I have taken the maintainance fund letter from Bank. The format is as below. Pls check and confirm it is okie or not.

This is certify that Mr. XXX XXX XXXX has a salaried account num XXXXXXX with HDFC Bank Ltd, His Net salary is credited every month in above mentioned account.

He has maitained min balance of 2,60,000 INR in his account for a period of atleast 3 months (01 Aug 2008 - 03 Dec 2008).

This certificate is issued to him for allowing him to process his UK HSMP Tier 1 Visa.

Pls let me know if it okie....otherwise I take another letter. Also, my salary account itselfs is the maintainance account. I have taken the bank stmt for the same period (01 August 2008 - Dec 03 2008). I had made sure that from 01 Aug 2008 to Till date has never fallen to below 2800 GBP.

Alwaiting for your earliest replies. Any guidance in this regards would be of great help.

One more query,

Is it mandatory to take the Authenticity letter from the bank saying that Bank stmts and maintainance letter are genuine.

Pls help and share your experiences. Looking forward to your kind responses.

Suresn

Fourth Place : If you still have questions, raise it in the forum.

Hi ramgsk,

I did checked those guidances. But, it didn;t find the actual format for maitainace letter from the bank.

Hence, I raise the thread. Your coperation and inputs would be highly appreciated.

Pls tell me whether the letter format looks fine or not ? Some applicats are submitting the authenticity letter from the bank. Is it really required ?

Pls share your thoughts/experience as this helps me in filling a successfull application,

Regards,
Suresh

Hi all,

Please correct if I'm wrong about signed & stamped online bank statement should be okay for Maintenance fund. On don't need to produce any separate letter from bank.

The tiergeneralguidance 204 (i) clearly states - "Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement.".

Please comment.
