Tie 1 extension application PEO

Post by extensionapp2011 » Thu Sep 01, 2011 3:34 pm

Hello everyone,

I am on Tier1 general visa and so my dependents are.
I have my wife and 2 kids with me. and my extension is due on November 15th.

I have a complicated case.

I have a travel requirement because of my office.
So i thought to apply all together for my family for PEO early. I am also aware this will create shortfall in ILR. Luckily i got the PEO appointment, but i only got the PEO appointment for myself which is on 8th september. and did not able to get for my dependents. Honestly, this whole PEo appointment system is hard to understand. It is very very hard to get any appointments.

So, i decided to put my dependents application later and go for my application only although i know it will cost me more money at the end. But money is not a problem here.

My question now, has any body got the similar case applying without dependants? Will it create any problems as to why i am not including my dependents or raise any uncertainity. My dependents are in UK with me. So my plan is simply to lodge my application first, and apply for them later on.

Even in worst case scenario i know i can apply for them from india later on to avoid for them to be an overstayer as long as primary application visa is there.

Please i need an advise asap.

Million thanks in advance.

Thanks Sush so much for your reply, This is a relief. As this is a silly question i know, because everybody has its on personal cirumstances.

But i was reading somewhere, that they have refused the PEO visa because of not including dependents along with the application. Perhaps on human right ground, not sure where the link is.

This is the link found it., the one with the name chundurb below

But i believe his case is bit different than mine, as his dependents were in india. Please if you can confirm again. I am really worried.

Thanks.

A statement in covering letter to state that the dependants will be applying separately (later) before their current leave expires should suffice.

There is no requirement that the dependant(s) must apply at the same time as the main applicant if the main applicant chooses to apply earlier (for any reason, such as work related) and the dependant(s) have valid leave remaining.
