Tier 4 application returned due to payment issue BR card mis

Post by munshimq » Mon Nov 29, 2010 3:19 pm

Hi
I made a Tier 4 application on 16/11/2010, delivered to them on the 17/11/2010. On 17th the UKBA tried to take out payment, but was rejected due to insufficient funds. I know that completely my fault, but I requested an inter account transfer on 16th evening and it got to my account on 18th, even though usually done instantly.

Anyways, my visa was supposed to expire on the 24th, so I decided to post another application without the documents and writing a cover letter...delivered to them on the 26th.

I got my documents back on the 28th, I got everything but my Biometric card. Now, should i wait for the acknowledgement letter from the home office for the new application, so that I can put that same reference number on the covering letter, or should I just send it to sheffield. And what should I do about my Biometric card.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Did you receive a letter from UKBA, along with your documents, confirming grant of leave to remain (or refusal)?

""but I requested an inter account transfer on 16th evening and it got to my account on 18th, even though usually done instantly. ""

How you can say that "Tier 4 application returned due to payment issue" as you mentioned in your post that you resolved that issue?

hi
After sending in the application, I though why havent UKBA charged any fees. So I call my bank on friday and found out from my bank that UKBA tried to take the payment on the 17th but was declined due to insufficient funds.

My visa was due to expire on 24th, so on 24th I filled in a new application form and send it to UKBA with a covering letter explaining what happened...and stating that I will send the documents back in as soon as I get them back.

I have received my documents (Passport + Degree) back on the 28th, now considering where should I send my documents and with what reference.

Another problem is that UKBA forgot to send me my biometric card back...so what should I do about that.

I have called home office general enquiries, one person told me that I will receive my biometric card from a different department in due course. and another lady told me to send the documents asap to sheffield.

Any help would be much appreciated. I am considering going through a solicitor...do you think that will help.

Hi, sorry to say that you did very critical mistakes. Immigration matters are so sensative now a days and UKBA love to take advantages of these kind of mistakes. Situation is very confusing but ONE thing for sure, your first application has been returned coz of non payment, (if, 75% chance) second will be returned coz of no documents, the third application you will make, it will be treated as an Over-stayers LTR application and you won't have any in-country rights of appeal if application refused by UKBA for any stupid reason which is the most probable outcome in these type of cases.

These is only 10% chance that UKBA sort this problem out, mean accept your second application for process and link the bank transfer to that and ask for the documents. (they can do easily by they don't). But some time they do for a LUCKY applicant. So now there is two options:

1.) Wait and see the outcomes or try to resolve the problem by yourself by calling / writing UKBA.
2.) Consult any good immgration solicitor, the only person who can help you at the moment!
