Tier 1(G) application successful Dec 2014

Post by Ted0081 » Sat Dec 20, 2014 9:49 am

I applied for ILR along with my spouse (dependant) yesterday in Cardiff and our application was successful. I have been on tier 1 general for 5 years and my spouse on dependant visa for 5 years. I wanted to list all the docs I submitted so it may be a help to others with similar applications-

Completed application for setO
2 photos for both of us with full names on back of each
Passports (old and new)and BRP
Earnings related- pay slips and bank statements for 12 months
Letter of absence - from employer stating my designation and fixed term contract dates and a tabulated form of the dates of entry and exit from UK saying that my holidays were in line with my annual leave entitlement and that I have never taken any unpaid leave throughout my employment.
KoLL - Both our life in uk test pass notification letter and degree and transcripts (both of us have degree from UK).
Cohabitation related - bank statements (joint and individual), credit card statement/letter, council tax bills, electoral registration letter, NHS appointment letters, CRB.

Photcopies of all the above docs including passport pages containing visas, personal details and immigration stamps.

All the process of submission and approval was completed within 1.5 hours.

If I can be of any help to you then please feel free to ask queries. Thanks!

In my case I have a degree from UK so I submitted that for proof of English language to satisfy KoLL (along with life in uk test).

I am no expert but I found some links which may be helpful for you

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... r_2014.pdf

The above link gives validity period of various tests for proof to show to home office.
Also this topic seems to be already discussed here-

Hope this helps!

Although they do not state any specific amount to be shown, in section 5 you need to fill if u r paying rent/ mortgage and further on they say in section 11 if u have filled section 5 you need to show you have enough funds after the expenditure to support yourself and dependants. So in my opinion it would be good to show some monthly balance like your regular usage bank statements or payslips. All they want to ensure is that you can support yourself without relying on any kind of public funds.

Hi,

Please help me with SET(O) form Section 11L Page 65.
Documents required for
"For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules."

What documents shall I be providing here??

My details are as follows

I was on PSW prior to my first successful application in TIER 1 general application in March 2010.

Hi
I am due to apply for ILR on the basis of 5 years on Tier 1 General.
My question is that I have been out of the country for 315 days in these 5 years.
Please advise in this regard.
Thanks
