Tier-1 applications different address for dependent's appl?

Tier-1 forms for the main applicants and for the dependents have slightly different addresses (same PO box and Post Code but addressed to a different section) for the HO where the applications need to be posted. Does this mean even if you are applying with the main applicant you are supposed to send the application to different address and not in the same application packet as the main applicant?

Certainly, a good finding

My take on this is that, since it is the same PO box on both application forms, if the main applicant is sending the application with their dependants, it should be sent in the same pack, at the address shown on that of the main applicants.

I guess the difference is, if someone was to make application only as a dependant of main applicant, it will make the HO easier to direct to a relavant section (If any).

One can also write a note on the main envelope to say "Application for Main Applicant + Dependants(s)"

Well, it was spotted by some other member a few days back and I forgot to respond to his message. Thereafter when I tried to answer it, I was not certain at all. I too was thinking along the same lines but thought would confirm with someone who have applied as:

(1) Main Applicant + Dependents
(2) Main Applicant followed by Dependents (separately)

and to find out which address did they used. Although it is quite trivial an issue but thought it was worth highlighting.

If you are sending applications for your dependants at the same time as your own application, make sure all applications are sent together in one envelope so any eligible dependant applications are considered free of charge. Dependant applications sent separately or later will have to pay a fee and we will not consider them unless you pay the right fee.

If you are a dependant applying separately (not at the same time as the main applicant), you should send your form to:

If you would like to send your application by courier, you should send it to:
