Tier 2 - Re-apply restricted CoS

Hi,

My Tier 2 Visa Application recently be rejected with the reason of my job description is not appropriate for the SOC Code I provided, instead, they think it is more like a SOC Code that falls under RQF Level 4.

The HO did not mention anything in relation to the RLMT, so I am assuming the requirements are met. However, a similar job description is posted as advertisement for RLMT. Does it mean to re-apply for a restricted CoS application, the company needs to advertise a new job, with a more appropriate job descriptions? Or do we only need to change the job description on the application?

Whole new RLMT with the role clearly stated both in terms of activities and requirements. The role should be fully within the RQF6 requirement for the SOC, with no lessor Duties.

Thank you for your reply. Does that mean there is no point risking to put another application by changing the job description?

In my opinion as a RCOS is required it will be subject to the same outcome as it is not just the job title or job description that makes the difference. You will need another RCOS so your employer needs to do the whole activity so is clearly fits the requirements. Failure to do that will just be repeating the same attempt.
