Tier 2 dependant Maintenance letter from company

I am on tier 2 general and applying for my wife a dependent visa. My employer had not mentioned for fund in my CoS as I was single when I came here.

Now, can only the letter be sufficient from the employer? Could you please share the sample of the letter please.
