I've submitted my son's visa application today but have selected wrong visa category as 'Tier 2 Shortage Occupation more than 3 years' rather than Tier 2 general more than 3 years. When I searched for the Job Type code 2136 it was in the shortage occupation list and I selected Tier 2 Shortage occupation as the visa category and paid only £928 as visa cost rather than £1220 for the Tier 2 General. Appointment for document submission and Biometric is on Feb 14th. IHS Surcharge also paid before submitting the application. I'm really worried and confused as I don't know what to do and what can be done. Can I call UKVI and explain the situation and pay the visa fee difference or do I need to cancel and reapply, Will I get the fee refund if I cancel the application?. Please help me.....
