Tier 2 dependant visa -Main applicant ILR and job change

I know the leave is still valid for a tier 2 dependant Tier 2 main applicant gains ILR. Does this still apply if the Tier 2 main applicant changes jobs whilst the dependant is still on the visa from the previous employer?

Tier 2 dependant visa is tied to the main applicant's visa. If you switch job, main applicant will be applying for a new Tier 2. Hence, the dependant also have to apply for a new visa (which can be done along with the main applicant).

The main applicant is not switching employers as a tier 2 migrant. The main applicant now had ILR and is switching employers.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Logically, the main applicant will continue with the same ILR, hence I dont think the dependant need a change in visa. however, could not find any formal documentation on it. Maybe some of the seniors can confirm this.
