tier 1 dependant visa

Post by krssubbu » Tue Oct 27, 2009 3:45 pm

Hi all,

I am on tier 1 visa (was on hsmp but now got extended and on tier -1 - 2 + 3 year scheme)

I would lke to bring my fiancee to the uk after our marriage in Jan.

I have a few doubts.

1. how many months bank statements and payslips do i need to show ?
2. houses are quite expensive where i live. so it would be too much for me to rent a 1 bedroom house. But for the visa is a absolute necessity to show 1 bedroom house or can i show my double bedroom documents - this is a private one which i saw in gumtree - maybe i can get a NOC from my landlord
3. can someone pls list the documents i need for the visa pls(just to double check)
4. also how much funds i need to show ? and how long ?

1) 3 minimum but ideally 6
2) Depends if the place you're in is overcrowded or not and whether the landlord decides to charge you extra rent for an extra person living in their house
3) Search engine on here will do that for you
4) http://www.google.co.uk and type in 'UKBA' and all the information that you need is on there.

book a house from estate agent systematically otherwise once refusal it is very hard to sort it out so get proper documents for on bed room flat from esttate agents

thanks sushil

but if it is sharing does it always have to go through estate agents. cant i just see something in gumtree and go for a 1 bedroom house. this would save me from the estate agents fee. would save nearly around £500 which is a big amount to me now

THIS pain is there in UK

Search some one cheaper waht price u mentioning is double the normal cost

but there is no way other than taking chance

HO / ECO knows all and once u give them some scrap other than agent letter
very high chance against u
