I got my documents today with Visa stamped. Here are the timelines

Application Submitted: 27-aug-09
At: VFS Hyderabad
Recieved : 4 Sept

Time taken 5 working days

Here are the docs I submitted.

Passports
Seperate application forms, photographs
One covering letter
Bank Statements+Bank letter
Marriage certificate + Marriage photograph
Baby's birth certificate

Sponsor letter (scanned copy)

Main applicant's deputation letter (my husband is on deputation from his Indian employer) highlighting the alllowance and salary part, accomodation part

No objection letter from the letting company (he has company provided accomodation)
6 months indian payslips
