Tier 2 Dependent application - BRP Collection

Hi Guys,

I was applying online for Tier 2 Dependent visa and am stuck at BRP Collection section.

My Tier 2 is valid till Jan 2017 and was hoping that my dependent would also get the same validity as mine. So when am at the BRP collection details page apparently it showed the below message

"If your application is successful, your passport/travel document will contain a 30 day visa to allow travel to the UK. You will also be sent a BRP Decision Letter with instructions on collecting your BRP after your arrival in the UK.

You must collect your BRP within 10 working days"

So my question is whether my wife gonna get just 30 days Tier 2 visa? or
Her Tier 2 visa validity will be on the BRP which should be same as my visa valid date? - In that case the 30 days visa will act as a way to get in to the UK to collect the official BRP card with proper visa validity.

Please help.

Just to make sure that am on the same page as you.

An initial 30 days visa will be issued for her which will be on the passport and once she enters UK then she will have to collect BRP in 10 days which will have visa validity as mine. Am I right?
