Tier 2 Dependent Maintenance Funds - URGENT QUERY

Post by shilpabasu » Mon Nov 25, 2013 3:35 pm

Hi,

I am applying for Tier 2 General Visa. My spouse and child are applying as my dependents. My employer is not willing to provide me with the letter stating that he will support my dependents in UK for the first month if required.
However, he is willing to provide me with a letter stating the total amount available to me in the first month will be £2100.
Will UKBA accept this as a proof for the availability of funds for myself and my dependents?or will they reject their application?

My visa appointment is scheduled for day after, if some one can reply to this sooner, it will be really appreciated.

Thanks
Shilpa

has the sponsor ticked the maintenance box in the CoS? If they have, did they add a sponsor note to the effect that they are not certifying maintenance for your 2 dependants?

Yes, they have ticked the maintenance box in CoS and they haven't mentioned anything in the Sponsor notes.

which means that they have certified maintenance both for you and your dependants - it is on the system:

By ticking this box you will also confirm that you
are certifying maintenance for any dependants of
your sponsored migrant. If you do not wish to certify
maintenance for a migrant’s dependants, please add a
sponsor note informing us that you are only certifying
maintenance for your sponsored migrant
