Tier-2 -Dependent-small query

HI ya,

I have book the Tier -2 application PEO appointment in next week along with my wife. I am filling my wifes Tier-2 dependent application form version 04/2011 document and i have a query about a particulat section.

Right now I am (main Applicant) working as full time employee under 5 years old work permit rules. As a work permit holder i dont need to show any funds for maintenance for my tier-2 application. Does its the same case for my wife as work permit holder depdendent as well. However i am going to include my last 4 months original bank statements (about 3000 pounds as closing balance on or both names as joint account)

In Tier-2 dependent application form under the section J3- which one i should choose.

1) An initial (Switching) application
2)An extension of his/her existing leave
3)A result of change of employment

Obviosuly its my first application under tier-2 but i am already working for the past 3 years under work permit and also I am not extending my stay but just chaing my employer. Can i assume option 3 would be suitable for my situation.
