Tier 2 dependent Visa

Hi,

I am currently in UK with a Tier 2 Visa. Landed a month back. The visa was valid from December 1st onwards. My wife, who is not in UK currently, also has the Tier 2 partner Visa valid from the same date as mine. Even the expiry date of the visa is same for both of us.

My question is: Is there any rule which says my wife (Tier 2 partner) has to travel for the first time, within some period of the visa start date? Or she can travel anytime during the visa validity period?

Request you to advice.
