Tier 1 Dependents visa docs

Post by ritabh » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:49 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply Tier1 General dependent visa for my wife. I arrived in UK on long term assignment on 7th Feb and my wife is in India. Right now I am living in shared accommodation and will move to separate apartment after my wife's arrival. Due to some personal reasons I am not sure how long my wife will have to stay in India but I want to apply for dependent visa in advance.

I have all the necessary documents with me but for residence proof my house owner denied to provide rental agreement and NOC. So in this case can I provide only reference letter from my Org HR referring my current residential address and few more documents, which I received on my this address such as NI Number, Bank statments, Salary slips etc? I read on few posts that residence proof is important but optional. Please advise me what I can do in this particular case.

I am providing following list of documents except rental agreement/NOC as of now. So please let me know if I am missing any required document.

Main Applicant

1. Letter from Branch Manager for FD worth 8.5 lacs & original passbook.
2. Tier1 visa copy along with photocopy of all passport pages self attested.
3. Original salary slips in UK
4. Sponsor Letter
5. Bank statements received from bank, showing my salary credited.
6. Covering Letter
7. Reference letter from employer

Dependent

1. Covering letter
2. VAF 10 form
3. Passport size photos.
4. Original passport of dependent.
5. Wedding invitation card, Marriage Certificate and few marriage photos.

Many thanks in advance
Ritesh

Make sure the bank letter clearly states that the FD is instant withdrawl and the excat dates covering the 3 month period.
