Tier-1 Earnings

Post by SSUK » Mon Mar 15, 2010 9:02 pm

I am ready to apply my application for Tier-1 General. Two months salary in India was paid to me through cheque and not as Bank Transfer hence it doesn't show the Source of earning , WOuld it be a problem, how can i handle this with letters, if possible ?

Please can you share your expereince / expertise, if you have seen any such cases, in which earning was claimed through CHQEUE & on bank statement it doesn't show the source..My employer is happy to write a letter to justify the same....

If you have deposited those cheques directly in bank.. you are fine... its not necessary that bankstatements should show source names....

but if you want be more safe.. get a letter from ur employer for those 2months... check chetan 's sticky for letter template above.

Many thanks for your response. Please accept my apologies, i am not trying to offend you, but while searching the web came across below:- Somebody got a rejection for the same reason might be way back in 2007 -08... IS there a guidance notes or some reference to Homeoffice website site which clarify it further..Pls no offences, i am just trying to get it 100% right...I really appreciate u r time & efforts. Many thanks...

My application was rejected with the following reason:
1. Payslips were signed but not signed - so not acceptable
2. Bank statements not accepted because the payments into the bank for two months do not show the source.
