Tier 4 to EEA 2

Hi guys


I wanna know what happens with tier 4 biometric card after receiving EEA RC

do HO keep biometric card with them or send it back as I sent passport and biometric card

They would keep it , Because you don't need your Tier 4 card anymore if you are issued an EEA RC.

Well I thought like chris that the Tier4 is automatically cancelled once you have apply for EEA ...
However, my assumptions appeared to be false, because last month a memeber of this forum posted that she requested her turkish husband's passport and tier4 visa which was valid till march 2016 and he got them back , and used it to travel to Turkey for 2 weeks and came back with no problem !
So as long as your Tier4 Residency is not expired you can still use it !!
