Tier 2 English points

Dear Ms/Mr,

I am applying for Tier 2 General, going through the online calculator to check my point, I figured out that my university is listed but showing "0" points, i have acquired a UK NARIC confirmation letter stating that my degree is equivalent to the UK degree and a letter from the university stating that the degree is taught in English language.

The laywer supporting the process insist that i have to go for an English test to gain the 10 points.

Via the website it is not clear so this case, they never say what to do in such case, however my interpretation guide me to do so (UK NARIC and University letter).

I have no problem to go the English test but it will take time due to the schedule for the test center.

Please Advise

What degree do you have?

Does the NARIC confirmation say that your degree is equivalent to a UK bachelors degree?

Yes, I already received letter from UK NARIC confirm that

I had a similar situation. However, I sat for IELTS and cleared it just to be sure. Not entirely sure if you have the time to do so as the test date usually is 3 weeks from now and it then takes another 2-3 weeks to get the results.
