Tier 1 - Enterpreneur fresh application joining friend's existing business

Post by jammie_pl1 » Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:30 pm

Hi,

I need some expert advice on Tier 1 Ent fresh application.
1. I am been invited by one my friends to join their existing business in uk. they are ready to share their company's details
2. can I use their business account funds to show some of my partial investment funds. What documents I required to show?
3. I am showing rest of investment funds from my family members (brothers/sisters). can I show their account statements without transferring the money into my account? what documents I need to get from bank? Is it required to show their funds for 90 days?
4. I am not showing anything from my account as it might need 90 days to be there in my account. I am just trying to make things faster. is it a good idea?
5. I am into cloud based technologies in IT which is a very niche area which my friend wants to explore.

can anyone share their experience who has applied using someone's existing business in uk.
experts please provide you inputs.

thanks

You need to show that you personally will invest 200K in that business. Joining an existing business laso means that you need to increase the employment in that business by at least two position (an maintain that at all times) and provide several extra docs to support your application.

Read the guide: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... trepreneur

Need some expert advice on this.
Creating employment comes after setting up the business. So that's not a concern at this moment.

My questions are.
Can I show funds from my friend's business account as the partial investment.
And the remaining amount from my brothers and sisters personal account.
I am not showing any funds from my personal account just to make things faster.
I can still transfer funds from brothers and sisters account but then I need to show it for 90 days. is it correct?

Anyone who has knowledge on how to join existing business please guide.
Please make a note this is a fresh application and not a extension application.

thanks

Yes, as third party funds with the requisite documents (which are more cumbersome)

Please contact a lawyer for how to join a business. It is a serious matter and I would seek legal advice - this has nothing to do with immigration rules.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Thanks for the reply.
Do you know or suggest any lawyer.
Any idea how much they charge. I would like to know a rough figure.

thanks

No, I don't have any suggestions. Almost any lawyer who does commercial law should be able to help. And charges can vary enormously, so call and check around.
