Tier 2 entrepreneur second job

Hi

I know that Tier 2 only allows do the second job if it is is the same prof or in shortage occ list.
However is there any exception to work as entrepreneur in a start-up company?

what is the SOC code of your main job and what exactly do you mean by "work as an entrepreneur"?

Sorry I used the word entrepreneur in wrong context.
I mean can I work in a start up company as my second job, which is not same as my primary job profession?
If not a salary from second job, will it be legal to be shareholder in the company?

whilst on T2 you can only undertake supplementary work if it is in the same sector and at the same professional level as your main T2 job (unless the job is a shortage occupation).

You can acquire shares in any company but you can only work there if the above conditions are satisfied.
