Was the reason accompanying spouse rather than work ?Caspy123 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 11:35 pmI have few questions while filling up Tier 1 Entrepreneur Migrant (Initial Application) Form.
My current situation: I am an Indian citizen and from Feb 2016, I am in UK on Tier-2 Dependent Visa. And I am planning to apply for Tier1 - Entrepreneur as the main applicant in the month of Sept-2017 from India.
1. In form, they have asked - Have you ever travelled to the UK in the last 10 years? When I select Yes, it asks for - Please Enter Details of up to your 5 most recent visits.
I have travelled to India during my stay in UK since from Feb 2016 in the month of April-2017 for 2 weeks.
Question: How Should I enter details for recent visits to UK?
Date of Arrival(UK) Departure date(India) Purpose of the trip
3 Feb 2016 21 Apr 2017 WORK
But how should I cover my arrival back to the UK from May-2017 till date and my next travel to India applying for visa, I cannot add future date for departure field. All fields are mandatory.
What monthly calculation ?
Normally it would be something like Secretary, but if the only info on the visa is High Commission then use that
If that is your intention then that's what you state.
This is still confusing for me. Are you trying to apply "from India" but actually from the UK ? That is not really applying from India - it is applying from the UK. And I am not sure that would be a valid application even.Caspy123 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2017 10:17 pmI Agree, I will be applying from India but I will be traveling by end of Sept and in the form, I cannot select a future date.
My question is: to enter data for recent 5 visits to the UK.
1. Feb -2016 to Apr-2017 <-- I have added this row which covers my travel from the UK to India
2. May-2017 to Sept-2017(future dates are disabled) <-- How should I cover up this entry as they are not allowing me to enter a future date.
So, your question is regarding the exchange rate. As the guidance states, they use the exchange rate on the date of application based on a specific site mentioned in the guidanceCaspy123 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2017 10:17 pm
2. Another point they have asked is Please enter a number of funds in GBP(£) required for you and your dependants? , does it have to be the minimum sum of 3,310£ (me) + 1810£ (dependent)? or it could be less than this depending on our monthly calculation?
"What monthly calculation ?"
In application guidance, they say the main applicant should have a min balance of 33100£ and to support dependent should have 1810£ balance in the account.
My question: on what basis should I calculate funds in GBP(£) required for me and my dependent(wife)?
You can say British High Commission, Delhi. This is the not the one that will cause your application to be accepted or rejectedCaspy123 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2017 10:17 pm
3. For Tier-2 Dependent they have asked for visa Issuing Authority. On Visa stamping, only Place of Issue is mentioned as Delhi. Does it mean Issuing Authority is High Commission Delhi?
Normally it would be something like Secretary, but if the only info on the visa is High Commission then use that
In form, they have asked for - What authority issued your visa i.e. British Embassy, High Commission, Consulate?
But on the passport, just Place of Issue as Delhi is mentioned. So I am not clear what to write for Pace of Authority
