I am on a tier2 WP and my visa is expiring on 20 Aug 2010. I do qualify for tier1 and planning to apply.
I am a bit confused and need some pointer on the following:
1. How much time will the Home Office take to revert back with a decision of granting me a visa or rejection?
2. If they reject the visa and revert back after 20 Aug 2010, will my current employer be able to extend my tier 2 visa? I am bit scared if the home office does not allows me to file an extension for the tier 2 post 20 Aug. In that case I will have to leave UK which I cannot afford atleast till Nov.
I have tried the online appointment but there are no date, tried calling few agents as well. Also, I need to apply before 19 July because the rules are again changing and I will not qualify then
Any pointer will be appriciated.
