Tier 1 Extension Expenses Reimbursement

Post by azee1982 » Wed May 04, 2011 11:56 am

Hi
I am going to apply for my extension and have Payslips and Banks statements to prove my earnings.

However I also get paid expenses now and then but via cheques. I deposit these cheques in the same account.

Although it is totally separate from salary (payslips), do I still need to provide company cheque receipts to show the legitimate source for those expense reimbursements or HO does not care about transactions other than concerned (Salary ones)?

Please answer my question!

Thanks
Azee

Reimbursements for expenses cannot be included in "previous earnings". Read paragraph 102 of the policy guidance.

Thanks.

So If I don't include/mention it at all, HO will simply ignore these entries in the statement?

Are these payouts (reimbursements) mentioned in your salary slip?

If they are, then:
1. Under what heading?
2. Does the "net salary" on payslip include this reimbursement component(s)?

Reimbursement should not be classified as Salary on your payslips.

Thanks Guys!

They are not mentioned at all on my slips. I was just thinking that wouldn't HO be suspicious about additional money coming in apart from salary?

Sorry for confusion

Thanks

Nope, you can claim whatever earning you want to claim. Any other money coming into your account has nothing to do with UKBA or your case. As long as earning you are claiming can get you the points you require you are good to go.
Goodluck.

So how will UKBA know?
