Tier 1 Extension joint application (Main and Dependant)

HI Guys,

I am in UK on Tier1 visa from 15 Sep 2008 and later my wife joined me on September 2009. Now it is time for our extension at September 2011 and I have few queries regarding it as I am applying for extension jointly for main applicant and dependant applicant? I would appreciate greatly if you guys could help me on this, thanks.

•What is the fee for Tier1 extension application? Reason for asking this question is that I applied for HSMP visa on 26th march 2008 and as you all may be aware that by 31 March 2008, HSMP category was closed so I was one of the last few person who might have got HSMP approval letter and after receiving HSMP approval letter I applied for Entry Clearance and got Tier1 visa for 3 years (15-Sep-2008 to 14-Sep2011). Will I come under “Tier1 visa with HSMP transitional arrangementâ€

2. No you cannot (deception). Attempting to do so may result in her passport being confiscated by UKBA to be forwarded to the embassy of the country your wife is a citizen of.
3. Extension (leave to remain) can only be applied for from within the UK. If your wife's current leave expires while she is outside the UK, she will have to apply for entry clearance as PBS dependant.
