Tier 1 extension - some questions

Hello,

I'm going to apply for Tier-1 extension in March. I've gone through the forms and the guidance and I'd be grateful if anyone could help me with a few questions:

Question D2: "where did the applicant obtain entry clearance or a visa before travelling to the United Kingdom?" I need to specify country and Post (City). Does that mean my own country, where I've made the application at the British Consulate, or the place where the application was processed and which is stated in the visa (Istanbul)?

Question D11: "what is the applicant's current immigration status in the UK?"
I'm not sure I understand what this means.. I'm here with a Tier-1 visa. Is that the answer?

Section H - qualification - there's a field to enter the degree's grade - not sure what should I write there?


One more thing in regards to the earnings evidence: in one of the 12 months I'm claiming points for, I received my salary in two instalments due to administrative reasons (it wasn't just me, but all employees). Also, my January salary is significantly higher because I received an annual bonus. As evidence I will submit bank statements and a letter from my employer. Is it important that these things are explained by my employer in the letter, or will it be enough if I explain them in my cover letter?

D11: Tier 1 General Migrant
Grade - for example, in the UK a bachelors degree is a first class, upper second class (2:1), Lower second class (2:2), Third, for a masters, Pass, Merit, Distinction, etc.

Would be better if the salary issue was explained by your employer IMO.
