Tier 1 extension visa date does Not match HSMP expiry date

Greetings,

Thanks very much for everyone who has kindly helped with my visa preparation here in the past, I have just received my new extended Tier 1 visa this Friday.

However, I have noticed a small problem with my new visa:
my original / old HSMP expired on 22/11/2009 - I sent my application on 06/11/2009, however, the new date Tier 1 extension visa starts is 30/11/2009, which means it does not match HSMP's expiry date and there is a gap of 8 days when I lived in the UK with no visa...

Does anyone have any idea about it? Is it a mistake I should inform Border Agency to correct?

That's absolutely fine. Your application was under consideration during those 8 days.From your side you applied before your visa expired. It was on HO part that they took longer to process the application. You didn't lived without visa for 8 days.

It isn't a mistake, it is the date you were given leave to remain. As long as you posted the application before your leave to remain ran out, you are fine, and you did.

They do not backdate your leave.
