tier 1 fast track?

Hello,
Is it possible to get a Tier 1 fast-track appointment? I've seen it written on the boards that some spots are released each week. Does anyone know when?
Also, I've seen it written here that solicitors claim all the spots. Should I just call around to solicitors to try and find someone w a spot this week?
