Tier 1 Funds Maintenance query

Hi,

Re Evedence for Funds Maintenance for Tier 1, Can I show some part of funds as Fixed Deposit and Cummulative deposit and remaining from Bank statement as source of funds maintenance?

example: Fixed Deposit & Cummulative deposit as £1530
Bank statement as £1275

Total as £2805

Please suggest me.

This is ok only if you have immediate access funds in the FD, and this needs to be stated clearly. Also, check the above comment regarding no. of dependents, etc to calculate the correct amount.

I am applying alone. Please let me know how to mention this scnario to Home office. Do I need to show any letter from bank. If so please let me know if you have any format of the letter.
