Tier 1 General Apply 16th July But STill No Reply-Pls Help

Post by pcl82 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi there,

I send my passport for switching PSW to Tier 1 General on 16th July 2010 but until today, i did not receive any contact with the home office. I received the acknowledgement letter on 21th July 2010 and since then, no news. I'm just wondering is this normal? I've seen most of the people gets their passport within 5 weeks or at least receive a call for more documentations. I've not received any request at all. And i also contacted my employer to ask if any one from home office call to verify my detail...but they said no one call from home office.

If anyone have the same situation as me??

Can someone please advise me as i'm too nervous right now as i dont know whats happenning to my application.

Regards,
PCL82

Wait patiently until 14 weeks are over, and then contact UKBA regarding status of your application.

I would guess you showed partime/contract salary as well? ... if yes, it will take time as now a days UKBA is doing extensive investigation.
I know few people who's took time as they showder oversees / part-time earning (client got called, etc)
