Tier 2 General Dependant can stay outside UK for how many days

Hi,

I am a Tier 2 General Dependant. I visited UK along with my son on February 1,2020 and left on February 29,2020.My husband is still in UK.

As per the 180 days criteria, we will have to get back by August 29,2020.

I am not sure if we can go back by that date. Could you please let me know if this would affect our Visa status.

Though I will not be able to apply for ILR in my 5th year, can we apply for ILR in the 6th year. Ie after completing 6 years

Yes, you can extend your dependent visa as many times as you wish and apply for ILR when you meet the requirements.
