Tier 1 General Dependant - Maintenance Fund Period

Hello Experts,

How long does a Tier 1 General dependant need to keep the required maintenance funds in the account, if applying separately in the UK? The main applicant has already been approved for the Tier 1 General category.

Is it for a 3 month period, the same as the main applicant or is there no specified length ?

I've just read the Tier 1 General Dependant policy guidance but couldn't find any mention of the 3 month requirement.

Would you be kind enough to point out where exactly in the policy guidance for Tier 1 (General) dependants does it specifically state that the funds for showing a dependant's maintenace has to be in the a/c for 3 months ? The guidance for the Tier 1 (General) main applicant specifically states that the funds need to be present for a continuous minimum period of 3 months for the main applicant. It doesn't mention any such periods for dependants in the dependant guidance.
