UK Tier 1 (General) Dependant visa; Which Form

Post by jgjadhav » Sat Oct 11, 2008 12:17 pm

I would like to ask the following query.
I was on HSMP for 4 yrs and now on Tier 1 General Migrant since April 2008. My wife and 2 small childrens (Age 4 and 2yrs) were on HSMP dependant visa which expired in April 2008 when they happened to be in Mumbai. My query is as follows
1) Which form should my wife and children fill in. Should they fill the VAF10 form even though I have moved from HSMP to Tier 1 General.
Or can they apply with VAF2 and tick box - Dependant of a person in an empoyment?
2) On the VFS Global web site, in the section about visa fees there is category 'Tier 1 general applicant with HSMP approval letter (transitional arrangement). I would like to know if my dependant can apply in this category and which form is required for this category. The linkto the web page is http://www.vfs-uk-in.com/visafees.aspx
3) Do I have to show 3 months maintenace funds of £1600 or £633 for each dependant?
Thanking you,
J Jadhav
