Tier 2 General - Dependent visa

Post by SRINS020.306 » Wed Aug 26, 2015 10:32 am

Hello members,

Warm regards

I have couple of clarification to get clear about Tier 2 general ILR, Iam sure this may help some of other members as well.

My case is:

Got an entry clearance on 27/06/2011 through employer A.

Changed to employer B on 16/01/2014.

My eligibility to apply ILR falls on new rule after April 16.

As per the new rule, I know I need 35000 annual salary.

In my case I need to change job for required salary to employer C.

Now i have changed my job to employer C with required salary on 21/08/2015, visa approved, now my visa valid until july 2017.

I have not changed my dependents visa to employer C, they still stay on dependent visa issued when i was with employer employer B.

I will be applying ILR by june 2016, which just 10 months from now.

Q1. Should i need to change my dependents visa to employer C ?

Q2. Can my dependent apply ILR whithout changing to my new employer C( their visa valid till feb 2017.

Q3. If they must change, how soon we have to do.

Q4. Can we able to travel out Uk without changing?

Please do post with a link source if have any to read and understand more.

A dependant's leave relies on the leave of the principal migrant, and not on the principal migrant's employer / sponsor / employment.

1. There is no such requirement (319C).
2. Yes.
3. Irrelevant.
4. Yes.

And, please don't make multiple posts on the same topic.
