Post by rreddy » Mon Aug 08, 2011 10:39 am

Hi All,

Hope every one id doing well and had a nice weekend.

I am going to extend my Tier 1 General Visa this month end in person.

My question reqarding Earnings is that Do we want the same or more earnigs what we have showed at the first time of application?

First time @Nov 2008 showed i am getting 34k. Do i also need the same amount to get visa extension?

Yesterday i calculated my earnigs from Aug 2010 to July 2011 ia m getting 31k. Is that fine or not.

Please help me in this context.

Thanks in Advacne.

Ravindar

you neec to meet the minimum requirements so if your minimum earning to show were 29k then thats what you need to show. just an example.

Thanks a lot.

I heard that there is a new rule from home office saying that we need to prove the same earings for the extension what we showed intially.

Not sure is this Tier 1 General or ILR.

its the same threshold not the same earning. i showed 25K for my initial application and claimed 25 points so i need to show 25K again thats how it works.

you will need same for ILR

Thanks.

I am bit tensed now. Can you please explain me clearly.

In Nov 2008 while making initial application i showed £33,858. Now I am going to extend my visa in person on 22nd Aug.So, can you please tell me that do i need to show the same amount £33,858.

After adding last 12 monts (aug 2010 to July 2011) i am getting £31,000 only.

i double checked the same amount using points calculator and it telling me that i am having sufficient points to extend visa.

Please clarify my doubt.

Regards,
Ravindar

how many points did you claim. do you have to claim that many points to your extension. if yes, then you need to show the same amount otherwise not.
