Tier 1 General extension - Queries

Hi All,

I was hoping to get some help with a few doubts that I have with my Tier 1 General extension application.

My Tier 1 visa expires next month. I have been contracting for the last 1 year. I worked under an umbrella company for the first 6 months and then started my own company (the tax is due on 30th Oct 2012, I haven’t paid, yet). So, I am unsure of 2 things:

(1) Whether I still fit in the Tier 1 general category or Entrepreneurship category?
(2) How do I provide employer reference for the last 6 months of work? I am self employed so I am my own employer.

Also, my salary accounts are not audited for the Jan-Mar 2011 period, do I need to submit an audited report?

I'd really appreciate any help on this.
